We believe that the power to make real change in our community rests with people. People with ideas, energy and projects that will address the issues they face, meet the needs they understand and tackle the concerns they have. Camden Shares is about investing in those ideas and helping to make them happen – by giving people the access to networks, contacts and stuff.
Camden Shares is a timebank marketplace, for people, groups and organisations to share, partner and collaborate. By using timebanking, where every hour is equal, we are levelling the playing field and creating equality of access. Whether you’re an individual with a skill, an organisation with access to training, a group with local knowledge, or a business with resource, you can all contribute. Camden Shares values all the assets in our community and becomes a multiplier that unleashes social value and generates more for our money.
Camden Shares is a project run by the Holy Cross Centre Trust (registered charity number 1109439), an innovative charity based in Camden that has pioneered the use of coproduction and timebanking.
